Everything Needed For A B-Series Swapped EK!

A pretty thorough guide for swapping a B-series into an EK specifically, But most applies to any platform.

Donor cars:
93-01 Acura Integra Auto/ Manual
99-00 Honda Civic Si

Drivetrain:
Axles and Intermediate shaft

Plumbing:
Integra full rad and/or hoses
Stock d16 fuel pump can be used with any B-series injectors / y8 injectors.

Engine:
B series manual starter (2 options Hydro trans and cable)
B series Distributor (All can be made to work)
T-bracket from 99-00 Civic Si (Honda P# 50827-S04-N10)

B series Accessories and brackets
B series header

B series Intake manifolds vary between B16/B18/B20
Throttle linkage for LS Integra/ Del Sol (Honda P# 17910-SR3-L01)
D16 throttle body can be used

Trans:
B series shift linkage

Ecu:
Obd2 ecu - P2T
Obd1 ecus - p06,p28,p30,p75
Obd1 conversion harness ( If converting)
Chip socket kit and chip tuned to run B series engine

(Already chipped obd1 ecu)

Recommended:
Timing belt and water pump
Gasket kit overhaul
Clutch kit
Shift bushings
Short shifter

If Manual swapping:
Pedals
Clutch master/slave cylinder and clutch line

Its 2025 and just learning how to b swap, this video was the most helpful out of all the swaps i have seen, including a list and everything. I have a 96 sedan which i will install a b18c1 with b16 head. With your video i noticed i could still keep some of the d16 parts which will help in the budget.

Would a b20 ve a good swap for an ek? My stock y7 took a massive shit back in May 2021. I'd like to do ls vtec with a turbo but I'm open to anything that could take a turbo. I've also contemplated a prelude swap. Just depends on what my local yard has to offer because somethings better than nothing

I have a 98 civic dx and I'm swapping a b16a2 I have a obd2b engine harness and a p2t ecu two of my plugs on my harness fit in the ecu but one is missing is that a cabin harness plug if it is do I have to change that plug or is it the same thanks.

How much do these engine swaps cost? I have a 98 Honda Civic that’s a D16y6 and it’s a automatic. I want to swap in a B series and a 5spd. I’m use to building Mustangs Foxbodies and other v8s so this Honda thing is all new to me

I need a good reliable daily driver that gets good gas mileage which is why I got the Honda. This D16 is slow as hell tho and I’ve been told I need the valves adjusting is why it misses at idle but runs great when driving it unless I stop inwhich case it misses when stopped.
