I Discovered That I Own an Ambassador Nintendo 3DS!

I have owned a European Nintendo 3DS for over year and did not know until now that it was an Ambassador system I could download Game Boy Advance games on.

Been getting an influx of comments on this saying “just homebrew your system to get these games.” I’m fully aware I can do that, and maybe I will someday on one of my other systems. But I want to clarify that I didn’t purposefully buy this system knowing it had these games and the certificate. I just happened to buy a system that has them and wanted to share my excitement after finding them.

I am an ambassador myself, what I did not know was that the GBA games were never subsequently released to the public like the NES games were. What a cool fact to learn!

I had an Ambassador 3DS, but the console is broken unfortunately, I transferred all my data (and ambassador games and certificate) to a New 3DS console, but I miss the first one. You made me remember about that console, I might search for it again and see if I could fix it.

I own the white Nintendo new 3ds ambassador version with both the Nintendo and the white and silver super smash bros face plates ofcourse with the ambassador certificate and the games, i got it second hand also not knowing you could re download them.
It is my favorite system.

when i got my first 3ds card for my 3ds i check redownloads then i saw all of these games, didn't realize i had an ammbassador system, i bought mine used in 2016, it included all ambassador games, pokedex 3d, and swapnote, dang i was a lucky person

It would be cool if the switch did this for people who bought the OG switch before the lite or any of that came out. If they did, I would be a switch ambassador member since I picked up the neon joy cons one in 2018-2019. I think its a neat little idea for all the OGs who bought it on launch or a bit after launch.

But, but, but--my Old 3DS XL can also do all those! It plays GBA, NDSi, SNES, and the regular 3DS games--well, except for games marked as "for the New blablabla only". And it's just a a regular dingy blue old 3ds xl. Lol
