The Nintendo 3ds Ambassador Program - Nintendo History

For my first video I am going to look into some obscure piece of Nintendo history, the Nintendo 3ds Ambassador Program

I had got the blue 3DS when it first came out, so I was on the Ambassador Program, but I ended up selling my 3DS a couple years later, I ended up regretting it when I got a new 3DS XL a couple years ago because I didn’t have my Ambassador Certificate, but I’m so glad I still had my original 3DS box still in storage because I was able to contact Nintendo & verify my SN & other information & they were able to transfer all my games & certificate into my new 3DS!!

at the time I was so pissed (as pissed as a 14 yr old could be) at the ambassador program, and I never played any of the games more than just a couple minutes each, some I didn't even bother with, but now looking back on it today, still having all these games by transferring my system thruout the years I look back on them and I'm really grateful to have all these super acclaimed games on my favorite handheld, and now as an adult, having outgrown the ickyness of "outdated" graphics now look forward to giving these games a go. 10 years late, but hey.

Huh. My 3ds is rare! I have an ambassador certificate and games, but I never realised it as a kid. Oh, on top of that, I have a street pass hit from Eiji Aonumara!

Every time since 2011 that I got a new 3DS model, Nintendo transferred all my GBA/GBA games and my Ambassador Program to my new one. It's one of the most unique things you can own, as it was a part of limited history. 😎
