This channel makes evaluating new monitor options a MUCH easier process than it otherwise would be. Very thankful for your work.

We need more non-OLED options on 1440p and Ultrawide

Please never quit making this type of content, it's very helpful.

Thanks to your reviews, I just got my AW3423DWF yesterday, I'm absolutely in love! My previous monitor was a 1080p 21" 60hz va panel, and as expected, the difference is out of this world! Any settings to change would be appreciated too.

I'm quiet frustrated to see mainly OLED monitors dominating thèse reviews. I use my monitors more than 11 hours a day for both work and gaming and burning risks is a concern, even a nogo. But I also would like a better image quality than my current VA panel... I Hope TCL will add some good miniLED competition in the future.

Love me some unboxed monitors, new soundscape is great as well, thanks for the constant consistent top-of-the-top content!

I always enjoy revisiting these. Also happy to see that the DWF with the firmware has hit a place where it gets (and has kept) top marks (the eotf tracking firmware fix was nice). I've always got my eye out for an upgrade, even though I don't need one, so I always look forward to these updates. Thanks for all the hard work. I'm hoping you had this ready to go before computex because if not good lord ... go get some sleep.

Watching in my AOC q27 G3xmn. Bought for only 260$. Very happy with this monitor

Please include the point VRR flicker on OLEDs and installed fans and their volume in your recommendations. These are important points when making a purchase decision.

I'd be so happy if you could suggest some budget/value ultrawides for a mix of work and gaming. 🥺

7 months into my new PC build with the MSI G274QPX, couldn't be happier with the performance!

I’d love to see some guide/review for screens for mixed gaming/work workloads. E.g. I’d love an OLED, but I also need use the screen for 6-8h work first, so burn-in, screen coating are a concern but would also be lovely to have good contrast, speed and (ideally) de facto single-overdrive mode for LCDs after work :)

Any plans to do a best productivity monitor roundup? Appreciating your thoughts and in depth analysis when reviewing and looking at different monitors and topics for gaming, and have been on the hunt for a good productivity monitor that can still handle some solid gaming, and unfortunately OLED doesn't fit the bill due to burn in...

Great video, I'd just love to see an additional section for "work-from-home + gaming" monitors, i.e. non-OLED displays that still have high-end features like proper HDR, integrated KVM and stuff like that. Ideally at an ultrawide resolution for better productivity AND gaming immersion... I bet there must be more people like me who are looking for a single display than can do everything 😁(and do so without a risk of burn-in)
Recently I keep recommending the Lenovo Y34wz-30, it can sometimes be had for as cheap as 690 Euros and offers the "full package", ultrawide 1440p, mini-LED VA at 165 Hz, integrated KVM + Ethernet, very good motion performance at high refresh rates (but struggles at ~60 Hz).
And while I'm satisfied with this monitor for now, it's still not perfect and I'd love to see more content about non-OLED HDR monitors, especially ultrawides.

Also, gotta mention, I love to see Guardians of the Galaxy in the b-roll footage on this channel and on HUB! It's such a gem of a single player linear story-type game 🤩

I'm surprised to see no mention of the Gigabyte M27Q-X (Rev2.0 now). Especially since it has the better BFI tech than the LG (no strobing), MSI (strobing w/o VRR).

Is backlight strobing THAT bad on these 240hz IPS'? It's almost treated like a non-feature despite motion clarity being the only reason you would buy a 240hz IPS instead of the AOC.

Any plans on if/when you will be able to cover the G80SD ?

i recently got the AW3423DWF and it is such a beautiful monitor. Currently playing through Ghost of Tsushima on it, amazing experience.

I agree with brightness being an issue for HDR on QD OlEDS. They are rated for 400 nits and the highlights in a lot of scenes aren’t bright enough. If you set it to 1000 nits it gets darker at full apl (white on the screen) than the 400 nit setting. My 600 nit monitor with HDR looks better when it comes to brightness.

really happy with the aw3423dwf i bought almost 1 month ago (refurbished for 650 euros), no burn in, no scratches, it's perfect! Going from an ips to an oled really changes gaming by how much immersive ultrawide + infinite contrast is compared to ips

Please review the new AOC Q27G4X 180hz IPS — I think it is better than the MSI G274QPF-QD (170hz) you recommend.
