My God. I can't imagine the fear that young man must have experienced. Then his poor dad having to watch. I don't go into the ocean. If I do, its ankle deep or I just sit on the sand & people watch. I watch Shark week every year. I'm good on the ocean. May this young man RIP.

I disagree with the popular theory that shark attacks are cases of mistaken identity. This poor young man was in calm, clear water and this shark was unrelenting in literally trying to devour him. No mistaken identity here.

Those were not “curious nibbles” just to check him out as food. She was intent on devouring him, piece by piece. That is the worst shark attack I have ever heard about. The shark is a predator, a carnivore, they will eat anything they can find. You go in the water, you are food.

No he didn't feel fear. At the first attack the shark ate his both hands, then he ate his jaws and after playing with him he drowned him . He was brutal cut in pieces. I'm asking once more... Why, why someone explain to me, i live in Greece, that he knows that the waters in Red sea, Indian ocean are full of sharks why the hell they swimm? Aren't they afraid??? And few days before was another shark attack? He was very very away from the beach. How can he survive? Nobody didn't help him, at the first moment shark cutted ripped off his hands. He couldn't swimm just called papa, but in 40' seconds he had eaten alive. Why people you are so stupid and swimm free? I don't know the place, is the resort Sharm di Sheikh? Because they are dangerous waters. They must close the beaches. Im sorry im in a big shock. People don't understand and always most of them will end in sharks mouth.

He should follow ocean Ramsey instruction just pet the shark and steer it away that easy. I don't believe ocean Ramsey theory how could you push it out of the way if the shark has the intention to eat you alive totally unbelievable otherwise this poor young man could have survived the attack .rest in peace it is sad no one there to help

wow this is hard to watch but a lesson for others. to witness the fury of the waters have no mercy. I can't imagine the thoughts going through he's mind just sorry he wasn't able to be saved. that is not anyway for someone to go. but at the same time he new the chances and the risks. just can't see how or way anyone would put themselves is such a position. prayers to he's family and loved one may god save he's soul.

I'm a old man and I have fished since I was 5 years old. From wading a small stream to the deep off shore ship wrecks. Countless times I have seen predatory gamefish attack a bait bigger than itself. I find a nice sandy Beach wade out to waste deep then squat down. Not 100% fool proof but around 99.9 %

First attack, the shark takes his arms off along with a portion of his face. The young man is then free for a second and screams for help while treading water also calling for his papa. Shortly after which the shark attacks from behind pushing the man forward before quickly circling again to repeat process at this point the man resurfaces momentarily with his head protruding out of the water the shark then casually moves toward him and slowly rolls over the top biting into his face and neck essentially dragging what's left of him under. The splashing stops and the water returns to calm. RIP.
