I trained my cat to do tricks (and it went viral…)

So over the lockdown I taught my cat to do some tricks.

My sister filmed it the other night and it got 2 MILLION LIKES on tiktok in TWO DAYS 😳😳

It’s now at over 8 million views there! So I wanted to post It here

guys I recommend training your cat spin first. The cat will spin at you when it wants food and stops to check if you’re looking at it’s spin. it’s so cute

Cats do whatever they want, whenever they want and aren't easy to train for many people. The fact this cat is happy learning and performing tricks for this man means they really care about him :)

They are quite hard to train like this, but the method is the same as with any dog. Just reinforce the good behavior.
But that's a good kitty! And he should be proud! 😊

We just got out kitten few days ago and I found him to be quite intelligent and motivated (with or without food). I really hope he will enjoy this kind of training, would be amazing to have this great of a bond between us.

My cat learned sit after maybe 3 times. Smart bugger. He loves his food so he is motivated.

He’s got the teaching method on point!!
-he taught the human to fetch snacks by using body language. -Still teaching him to say “meow” but he keeps saying “speak”….

I just teached my cat his first trick at his age of 14 years so he's already a senior, he now knows how to give a high five😂

He should make a video on how he trained her. I want to train my kitty too, she is very smart and I feel like she'd like to be challenged more.

It’s pretty easy, but if you’re starting start with high five or spin, those are the easiest and get a clicker for it that’s gonna make it way easier for your cat and will speed up the process, and by special treats while doing it that your cat won’t be able to access anywhere other than training.
