Uncapped, because if you cap your FPS or enable V-Sync the input lag will be very big (16.67 ms) which is bad. However, if your frames are unlimited you will get a lower response time and a smoother gameplay experience.

I’d say it depends on the system, if ur experiencing fluctuations, cap it, else don’t. It also depends on the frame time and that 1% ur system gets that will also help make a choice

Higher the fps means lower input delay. Capping means lower temps and consistent input delay. Keeping the fps uncapped will have the lowest input delay but your frame time will be all over the place from fps going everywhere. If you like consistent frame time then find your 1% lows and cap it to that. For example my highest fps is180 fps on warzone. Average fps is 160 and 1% would be 133. I capped it to 133 and the fps never goes below that and I get a frame time graph that super straight. I do this because I like how smooth the game feels but if you are competitive it’s best to cap to refresh rate or unlimited. Hopefully this helps someone, sorry for the long comment

uncapped if you have a 240hz or higher monitor. gsync is pretty much useless at that high of a framerate.
