Fortnite FPS stuck at 60 Fix

If you are on a later windows version, click more options then you should see the nvidia control panel.

On behalf of my sons complete nagging and moaning attack spewed upon me…I bid you a wonder thanks! Lol, also found within that specific drop down menu that the max frame rate was set to 60fps so I’ve now set it to 144 and it works, then I set it to max (1000) but haven’t tried it, but either way this fix has sorted out the issue so thanks a lot mate

dude, my fps at the start was around 70, NOW IT RUNS ALMOST 900 THANK U SOOOO MUCH. i hated the 60 fps refresh rate delay

i dont have that 2 option, number 2 just shows global settings for fortnite and not the nvidia high performance .. im sad, i was playing the galaxy cup and when i turned on my pc after the cup, then my fps shows maximum 40+ fps in the battlepass section and around 100 in the lobby or achivements. im very confused, since my pc has never done that before, i usually have around 144fps when i play and in the lobby. btw i have a gtx 1080 and i7 6700k 16gb ram

My game was working fine like 180 FPS but then I plugged it into my monitor and now it’s capped at 30 and when I unplug the monitor it’s capped at 60
