How to Fix Files Being Saved as JFIF Back to JPG in Windows 11

In Windows 11 operating system whenever I go to any browser just like a Google Chrome or the Firefox and I want to save any image from the internet it is saving in in JFIF format or extension is .JFIF . I am wanting to save these images in JPG format or .JPG extension. To resolve this issue you just go to the start and type the registry editor. just click on the registry editor. In the address bar of the registry editor just type .
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\image/jpeg
And hit enter it goes to the folder name of registry editor name image/jpeg . In this folder we find file extension Just click on that filename. In value .jfif Change it to .jpg Click on the ok . close the registry editor. Restart your browser. And now your image is saved . JPG format.

Thanks, this method is posted in many places. It works; however, I have made this Registry Edit at least a dozen times and Windows keeps changing it back.

Did not work. I followed all the steps and changed the extension to .jpg in registry editor. When I try to save a file (From internet) it defaults to WinZip Image Manager. .... WHY?
