Walking around the streets of Washington DC from M and 17th Street to Farragut Square - July 4, 2020 around 6pm.

While Walking around the streets of Washington DC, it reminded me of what NYC looked like during lockdown. Streets of Washington DC felt deserted with the exception of a few pedestrians and police officers that were scattered around the downtown area. Walking around the streets of Washington DC, I realized most businesses remain closed while others are boarded up. Streets of Washington DC especially the downtown area continues to see protests against the police and systemic racism in the US. I do hope walking around the streets of Washington DC on my next visit will be different.

Wow...there is NOBODY around downtown DC! It's even emptier than the streets of Manhattan. You passed one of my favorite hotels, The Mayflower, which I guess is closed. Thanks for showing us what's going on in our nation's capital! Great video...
