It never ceases to amaze me how people don’t get lost more often in such labyrinth of stairs, hallways, and subway platforms, but I didn’t when I lived there. There also seems to be more crowded than years ago, but maybe it just appears that way to me compare to where I live now. I love the clarity of your work. Might as well we’d be the ones holding the camera. Thank you.

I've never been to the USA but everyday I feel like I'm in New York. Your videos are great and mean much more to millions of common folks around the globe that may never get to physically visit New York.

I really hope you keep it up my friend and if there's anyone reading this that "knows someone who knows someone", this guy should get some support from the city for his dedication

No editing, no playing your favorite music, naturalistic sounds. Genius! And I've taken these routes a gazllion times.

This spectacular walking tour video takes me back to my shopping excursions along 34th Street when I was 22 years old (some years ago). Great job!

I really love how you start your videos walking out of the train and through the subway station. I’ve only been to New York a couple of times, but I absolutely loved the city, and strangely enough, also the subway.

That sound of your footsteps in the squishy snow and the occasional lens cleaning: indeed a Snowy Walk! :-) The Knicks have to play? Freeze frame at 32:28! Thx for this walk and stay warm, actionkid105!

I can see that some old buildings in Manhattan are being torn down to make way for new sleek glass skyscrapers for new offices and luxury apartments especially on 34th street and 9nth avenue and near 29th and 27th streets. I know many NYC landmarks and historic districts are protected and preserved by law. This video is a gem and the Empire State building and the Flatiron building still shines bright throughout our beautiful city which is the Big Apple! Thanks for sharing this great video Actionkid! You are awesome in what you do always! Have a great weekend!

I still love the city even though it's wrapped up in snow! I watched while biking on my exercise bike. I miss the city but have to say that I'm so happy to live in the tropics. Actionkid, you did a grand job with this video. Thanks for sacrificing for us and bearing up with the cold. Stay warm.

In November 2018 I celebrated the 50th anniversary of my first solo trip to NYC as an 18 yr old kid fresh out of high school. I stayed at the Penn Garden Hotel directly across from the then brand new Madison Square Garden. I saw two breakthrough movies that weekend; Night of the Living Dead at a flea-bit movie house on 42nd St. and 2001 A Space Odyssey at the Cinerama Theater on Broadway. I was thinking tonight that I'll never see that hotel or walk those streets again. Suddenly your video shows up on my recommends. JFC! You walked past the old Penn Garden Hotel now called the Stewart! Holy shit! I can't believe it. Thank you so much for doing this walking tour. You made an old man's day! Keep doing what you're doing. It is appreciated, believe me! 👍😉

Watching this video is like reliving my past AGAIN with just one foot from the train onto the platform. This was and still is a major shopping area for New Yorkers. Gimbles where I bought my upright piano among other things. There's Macy's where my aunt worked for 30 years before retiring. Altman's housewares department (gone now). Can't thank you enough, AK105.

Highly enjoyable, AK. We're having similar weather in Vancouver on the opposite coast—snowy with a cold wind.

Love all your videos, as a potential visitor from UK. I’m a bit scared of visiting solo so they give me some confidence. However must say I prefer your commentaries. It doesn’t always have to be ‘touristy’ or constant commentary, but why not introduce a bit of whimsy, philosophy, off the wall comment about people, situations, shops, vehicles, anything that crosses your mind etc etc. I think you have the potential to do this!
