Night time attacks are evidently far more promising. The ship's crew probably heard the drones but couldn't see them. It was a case of blindly shooting into the dark in the hope of getting lucky. They weren't lucky this time.

Amazingly, the commander of the Black Sea Fleet was fired by Russia a few weeks ago after being dead for months! WT?

the only defense that a multimillion dollar warship has against a sea drone attack is a group of guys shooting guns at it? I know nothing about naval anything.... but shouldn't there be something more significant than this? These sea drones are brilliant in their design and ideas. this has got to be the best bang for your buck weapon
