2024 Nissan Sentra Review

The 2024 Nissan Sentra, now in its 42nd year, has been refreshed, making it worth a closer look. Despite being one of the most affordable cars on the market, with prices closer to $20,000 than $25,000, it offers impressive value. Even the top trim, packed with features, stays under $30,000. Additionally, improved fuel efficiency for 2024 makes it more economical to own, which is why we're reviewing it—to see what it's like to live with this car.

I bought the 2025 sentra SV. It is really a nice car with very comfortable cloth seats. It’s peppy and feels very quick with a quiet cabin.

I'm glad you're not blown out of the water by the graphics on the screen.

Love the looks of the newer Sentras. But man do I wish they'd offer it in a manual transmission at all. They need to bring back the SE/SE-R

I've loved the Sentra since the 2020 redesign. I almost got one, but ended up with a Mazda3, which was certainly the better choice, but every time I see a Sentra, I look at it longingly... I prefer the 2020, but this one still looks good, too!

I took a 2021 sentra SV rental car and I drove it, by far the best cvt car I've driven, its only 4 cyl and 149 hp but it has the speed of a v6, it picks up really quick from a stopping point, I'm very impressed not sure how more to describe it but its like made for racing . But I hated two things, when it starts raining visibility is not that good with any wiper speed or even with full blown air to the front and backup cam is soaking wet

Absolutely crap. My sister has a 2024 and currently going through the lemon law mess. With 5, 600 miles its been in the shop 4 times for the same thing, a clicking noise when turning on hills. They replaced broken motor mounts, then suspension bushings, then all four sway bars and now the motor mounts are broken again.

If car companies want to keep selling cars, they need to make them all slopebacks/hatchbacks. I was in the market for a new car and I did not consider a sedan purely due to the flexibility of a hatch. The general population likes SUVs, but I do not. I like the handling of a car, but need storage space to pop a TV in the back every once in a while.

I don’t see how anyone can call this Sentra a compact car. It’s huge in size when compared to their former sizes of the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s.

Also all these cars look the same. Camry, Sentra, Altima, etc.

DO NOT BUY IT. I’m broke and should want it to be popular for resale value. IT’s NOT WORTH SCAMMING OTHERS FOR ME TO SAVE $2, 000 on resale value in 8 years. The car will not run regardless of the life-time drive train warranty in 8 years.

I’d get a civic, Corolla, mazda3, Elantra, or the upcoming K4 over this. Nissan quality is very questionable now.
