Scotty doesn't want people to buy Subaru's because he dosn't want to change the spark plugs.

Yet Toyota owns 16.5% of Subaru since 2011.

Toyota: "ok Scotty show us where on the car Subaru touched you"

These were 2012-2013 car engines. At least Subaru/Toyota will warranty them. Good luck getting Chevy, Chrysler, Ford to warranty a 7 year old engine!

Rev up your Subarus! And head to the dealership.

Hey At Least Subaru accepts to make these repairs as Official RECALLS and own up to it.
Toyota wouldn't use the term "Recall" for the 2019 Corolla CVT issues to avoid being liable to repair them all.

With all respect to Toyota, Subaru is one of the most reliable car in the world . The Japanese are not stupid and Toyota management know the work when they chosen to buy Subaru motors .

At least they do the recalls. And they take responsibility for the issues.

My 98 legacy with 337, 000 miles runs like a champ, just regular maintenance and take care of it.

Toyota owns 21% of Subaru. The rest of the company is owned by Fuji Heavy Metals. Not sure why this wasn't mentioned in the video.

I think your being too hard on Subaru, Scotty. They have a very loyal customer base and Subaru is known for standing behind their products. Every car brand has made mistakes, at least Subaru and Toyota makes good attempts to keep customers happy.

Scotty, these are the exact reasons that I will not own ANY of the newer cars and trucks. The newest car that I own is a 1999 Olds Alero with the 3400 V-6 and a 4 spd automatic trans. My sister bought this car new when she worked for a new car dealer so I know the car's history. I had to replace the engine after that stupid cooling pipe that runs beneath the intake manifold blew out and dumped a crap load of coolant into the engine. My mechanic told me that he could rebuild the engine, but couldn't give much in the way of a warrantee. He advised me to allow him to search for a low mileage replacement that had not been "cracked". That's the way we went and it's been a good decision. The car has right at 97, 000 miles on it and the engine has about 121, 000. The engine had 118, 000 on it when it was installed. My son asked me why don't I sell the car and get something else and I told him that I KNOW this car and will keep what I know as opposed to one that I do NOT know. About 6 months ago we replaced the starter and solenoid when the solenoid crapped out. You cannot buy just the solenoid, but have to get the starter AND solenoid. That package costed $250 through the local Chevy dealer and my son had things swapped out in about 20 minutes. My other 2 vehicles are a 1975 Mercury Cougar XR-7, with 400 big block and automatic trans and a 1981 Jeep Renegade CJ-7, with a 4.2 liter AMC straight 6 and a 4 speed transmission and 2 spd transfer case. As long and NAPA stays in business, I should be able to keep my "old iron" on the road. Here's wishing you and yours a Blessed Day and I really enjoy your videos and the way you tell things as they are and not how people WISH they were.
