Today I Flew America's Worst Airlines in order to find out which is truly the worst! American Airlines and Spirit Airlines are both considered to be the worst airlines in all of the United States and America but which is actually the worst? The first AA flight you took was not a real American Airlines operated flight, it was Piedmont Airlines operated as American Eagle. Piedmont as well as other regional carriers operates for American Eagle, United Express, Delta Connection, and Horizon (Alaska). The non-regionals/mainlines are not as bad as many have always anticipated after experiencing a regional vendor representing their legacy mainline's coat of paint.

Piedmont is the operator of the American Eagle flight you were taking, which is why their logo was on the emergency pamphlet. American hires a few regional airlines to operate flights on their behalf. It's common practice with the 3 big US airlines. Air Canada does this as well with their Express flights which are operated by Jazz Aviation and Chorus. Great video!

My American experience was easy, The check in was easy the seats were comfy the boarding was easy we didn’t even have any upgrades or anything over all I think American is a good airline

When i flew with american airlines it was great! The entertainment website was working so i had a lot of films that I could watch for free.

He should have flown on a actual American Airlines flight. Because since American eagle is operated by different airlines, there gonna have their own different seats, layout, tray tables, and all types of different stuff.

I have nexus as a Canadian-American, and it is SO worth it whenever we are flying to Canada or driving there. It gives you a huge time difference and lets you skip a huge line. Overall if you could get it, get it. It is not very expensive at all either.

American and United are the only U.S. carriers to fly the ERJ 145, which is the first American plane you flew. I remember the last time you flew Delta was on their CRJ 900 plane so not the exact same but close

I fly American all the time and no issues. Great service. Easy check in. Only time check in can typically be a issue for international flight is if you didn't supply all needed information or ticket booked last minute.

The Wi-Fi for not watching supplied entertainment may come at a cost, but American provided entertainment is free via Wi-Fi.

Now i am a tmobile customer so their free Wi-Fi you mention is a bonus through them.

I've never been on their piedmont regional operator flights, but the others i have been on were nice planes and service was good.

Just my opinion of course, everyone will have their own interpretation based on their experience with any airline.

I only fly United and star alliance airlines so I'm not the most familiar with flying those airlines. The only things I liked about Spirit airlines was 1. It was good for little flights when you wanna see someone you know for a day and go back for just as cheap. 2. The planes are pretty darn quiet.

Almost always fly spirit only been delayed 1 time and always have a nice experience (with agents) honestly I don’t think they are bad especially for a budget aorline

Flown on spirit a fair amount, never had any issues, not super comfortable but I never fly longer than like 4 hours. Never had any issue with booking either. Super cheap too lol

I’ve flown American domestically in the US many, many times. I’ve never had an issue.

I have been an American Airlines customer for more than 50 years. I know that many of the legacy carriers have undergone a lot of change over the years. However, I would not consider American Airlines to be "the worst" and frankly, I think that they are pretty good.
