I know you did this 4 years ago but it has given me hope. I have a part that is fairly simple rectangle and has holes in certain places in the center and left side and the 4 screw holes in each corner. Now the part has to be made 3/4 of an inch longer but only move the two right screw holes with the right side. Tinkercad wants to move all of them when I increase the length, I thought I would have to redo the entire part.

Thanks, said very straightforward. Only one thing - you can end up with one half shorter by 0.01mm. This is not really an issue, unless you want to work on the model further and make some calculations. Check the size of each half - if its XX.99 simply move the "hole" rectange by 0.01 the right way and then group together

But what is the width of the HOLE object that was used for the cutting? Won't that width be missing from the WHOLE when you glue the pieces back together?

I want to cut a a part in half and extend it. I really, really... prefer Fusion. I just can't figure out Tinkercad. Unfortunately Fusion makes it difficult to work the stl files without the paid version..
