How to EASILY change a lawn mower tire yourself with basic hand tools

In this video I’ll show you how to change a lawn mower tire yourself. Inevitably you’ll be faced with a flat tire AND a decision to take it somewhere or change it yourself. With the help of the harbor freight mini tire changer, I’ll show you how to find success and keep things rolling.

Can I give you a couple tips on how to make it easier? One, get a cheater pipe to add onto the end if it is too hard to pull. Also you can use vise grip locking pliers clamped onto the wheel or a special bead locking clamp as well to keep the tire from spinning around on you while trying to mount the top half of the tire bead under the rim lip. Hope that helps next time

A very informative video, Mark! I don't think that I would've been strong enough to use those manual tire changing tools. I just watched your video with Branden on his channel. May I ask how tall you are so that I can get an idea of the strength that it took to mount your new tire? Did I miss why you decided to change the tire and the tube instead of patching or replacing only the tube? Thank you so much Mark.

Excellent video, Mark. Regarding your title, however, I'm not sure the Harbor Freight mini tire changer qualifies as a "basic hand tool." The clickbait worked, though, and got me to watch your video. 😄 Still, nice job!
