Something I do is I say things that feel more true to me. So instead of “I am wealthy” it sounds more like this “I am taking the steps towards becoming financially equipped” and then I back it up with small steps I’m taking towards said goal. Or instead of I am fit and healthy it may sound like “ I am choosing more nutritious meals to fuel my body and am becoming healthier each day” feels so much more attainable to me. Your mind will start to look for reasons to prove your right the more you start to really believe it. Loved all these points. Looking forward to using these tools!

You have to constantly say the affirmations & flip your thoughts.

Of course saying "I am rich" when you are financially struggling ... going to feel right.

You're ego is fighting to protect you.

You have to just perisist right through it. The affirmations are used to form new neuro pathways.

Eventually they will become your new dominant thoughts.

This has worked for me, even with anxiety, depression & PTSD.

I have had more success affirming the negative. For example, when I repeated the statement: I do not have $10, 000, within a few weeks $10k showed up unexpectedly. There is no resistance to the statement, but you're still focused on the $10k. I think that's why it worked for me

Affirmations don't work in a conscious waking state because our subconscious mind automatically rejects the statement as being BS. AfFORmations (or confirmations) work better in a conscious state: we can ask a question or say a statement in a way that allows our conscious brain to provide evidence that the question or statement is true.

Affirmations *do* work when we're in meditation, once our brain waves start to dip into a more suggestible brain wave state. That's where we can not only access our subconscious operating system, but also start to reprogram that existing subconscious automatic program.

In short: *Affecting real change on the subconscious/identity/nervous system level *is* absolutely possible.* You *can* change. :)

I´ve tried affirmations for years with little results. Things started to change when I started asking my mind. "how good wouild it be if I were this or that"? Our mind sticks and likes our patterns. They don´t want our patterns to be disturbed. So, if your mind likes chocolate ice cream, don´t force strawberry ice cream onto it. Ask your mind to just give it a try.

Affirmations are amazing you need to take a growth approach in the beginning if you have lots of resistance and regulate nervous system while changing your beliefs but affirmations are amazing and they work you have to word it right

This is true. I watched Mark haughton on youtube, and he said your questions are your answers.
His favorite Askformation I am using at the moment is:
Why do I consistently have more than enough money to live the life that I desire?

Why does the lottery love making me rich?

What would my life look like to win hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars in the lottery?

But don't affirm like a robot. You have to pose and ask like you really want to know the answer

Thank you for this video. I've been doing some tapping using 'I'm enough' & although it feels therapeutic, it also seems like it triggers me into actually feeling 'not enough'. There's a lot of tears when I feel this way, so I eventually have resistance to the process. I'm going to try your suggestions this morning. As always Lauren, thank you for sharing. Your flower essences are on my wish list!

I so want to change my beliefs. I think your video is helpful but not quite there for me I search on. I love Louise Hay. More people need to talk about and help people with this topic. Love that you talk about flower essences.

I love this. I’ve been doing affirmations for years and they do work but it is a Herculean effort.

Yeah, affirmations do work. They only work when you’ve brought your brain waves to theta. Questions might help, but if you’re doing it in the conscious state it will take longer then if you do it during theta. So this approach you are recommending will work but will take longer because it is more difficult to root itself. The questions you’re posing are a type of shadow work. The approach I use is feeling the feelings in the body. A somatic practice. Then i do the positive affirmations at theta. And i do the theta work at night. That’s when it’s easiest to change the unconscious mind.

Thank you for showing this tip as most can't afford for private session, now I understand more, why Guru said you have to ask yourself question why, otherwise your mind doesn't believe is true or your minds knows is false, so is hard time in believing something and this is cause with limited belief with myself.

Ok I think i managed to reframe statements into questions.. and started crying.. tears and emotions came out immediately from the deep. Is it a good sign? Dear god..🙈

Step One: Turn your statement into a 'what if' question, or a 'why is that...' question.
'What if I look at my body as a soulmate today?'
'Why is it that I feel so confident and comfortable in my body today?'
Step Two: When you desire wealth or fame or beauty, it's not really about that thing. You want the emotional experience, the sense of fulfilment and love and purpose and such.
'I am wealthy.'
What is the experience you want from that? Maybe it's a sense of stability and freedom, so you can pursue your dreams? Fun or play?
Build that into your 'what if...' or 'why is it that...' questions.
Step Three: Repetition!

I love it. Tony Robbins says we should make the right questions, and I've been doing affirmations I think a à mix of you advice and affirmations can root and rewire our brain. Thanks so much
