I thought it was simple in the beginning. Then, when I studied it, I realized there were a lot of variations in every line. Every line has different variations, I think about 12 . The best part was the chorus. Phew, it was sick!

This was one of the first songs I played on bass since picking it up in 2021 and I always find myself coming back to it to measure my skill level (since the solo was a huge pain in the hand when I first tried it, and now it seems so easy, I really love to see the progress) Really amazing and underrated bass line. Just wanted to thank you for posting this. I am a beginnning bass player and I think playing this slowly through, after watching your fingering carefully, will be good practice. I can definitely see the importance of that thumb placement....so important to allow you to move to the other notes freely. Thanks for posting the music and the video. Quick note, even before I started playing bass, this was one of my favorite bass parts in any rock song. I would always wait for the bass to fall in at the beginning of the song. What a great bass part after the classic guitar intro.
