Don’t buy Laundry Detergent Strips until you watch this!

We test the top 4 bestselling brands of laundry detergent sheets on Amazon and compared them to Tide laundry detergent.

How well do they whiten whites and clean stains? And what about the cost? I've been testing different laundry detergent sheets for over a year now. I wanted to see which one was best.

WHERE TO BUY (most laundry squares are sold online only)

We compared the cost per load, considering each brand had a different number of sheets to use for a large load. This varied widely, so you can't base the cost on the # of loads listed on the packaging.

Prices may vary; all price per load info was based on prices on Amazon at the time this video was made.

Laundry detergent strips are more environmentally friendly because they're plastic-free, dyes, optical brighteners, or parabens.

We may earn a commission when you shop through our links (and you'll get a cleaner home).

I have been using earth breeze for over a year now, but I'm willing to try breezeo. But here's the thing I would never ever put stained up clothes in the washer without putting my stain remover on them. Which is, perioxde, blue dawn dish liquid, and baking soda these 3 things together always gets whatever is stained right out. I swear by this stuff. It has saved me many, many times over the years.

You did a great job in comparing brands. So helpful. Of course no one expects makeup and sauce stains to be that awful, so I get the point of your video was to show what the various sheets actually did. Thank you🥰

I never put laundry in that has stains like that on it! I pre-treat stains before they go in. I make sure that the whole stain is out before I put it into the laundry. Stuff is just too expensive to let go like that

Hi! Great review just noticed you didn’t mention the price per load of Earth Breeze! It’s 20¢ per regular load or 40¢ per large load (half sheet for regular and full sheet for large)

I'm embarrassed to say (because no one else seemed to be confused) but I'm completely confused by the comparisons starting at the 2:27 mark. Are those after they'd been washed? I don't get it.

To reduce plastics I changed to powdered detergent in the old fashioned cardboard box. Considered going to the sheets for space saving but the cost per load based on this report is too high. I am a senior on a tight budget. Guess I'll just stick with the powdered.
I pretreat all stains.

I use Clean People. It’s made in the US (California where i live) and Canada while some of the others are made in China where who knows what they put in their product. And I’m supporting a US company.

I use LG laundry sheets for about 3 years.
Keep repurchase.👍
Was given a few boxes Free from purchase from a big and small washing machines.
So far I like it.
I compared to Tru Earth.
Currently I have these two brands.
When I have a very small load.
Great for small loads.
Low Suds too.

Why not include the cost per load for the tide? tide also appeared to do a better job on the stain.

One thing I’m not used to is the lack of scent. Of course it doesn’t smell like sweat but I just can’t tell the difference if it’s clean, damped, or a mix of odors.

I’ve been using Sheets brand. Cleans well but leaves white residue that easily wipes off of black clothes. I also pre-dissolve them and turn black clothes inside out.

A also spray stains soon after I get them. I also wash wash whites separately.

Ecover do a brilliant stain remover in a bottle with bristles. I only use this and it works amazingly
I never do mixed loads whites only go in with other whites.

But if you have a stain on white clothing, wouldn’t anyone combine bleach with the detergent?

i use tide oxiclean, most effective for big loads so far, since i wear distinct colour clothes, so i usually do a large load of my clothes

Tru Earth is FABULOUS! My clothes get clean and it's such a space saver. I order a years supply and just got my 2nd year delivered. If you have a residue you are not using enough water. Also keep in mind if you have hard water vs soft water on how your detergent works. Also Tru Earth is made in Canada. Earth Breeze is from China. I am not familiar with the other 2 brands. Happy Laundering!

Laundry sheets are a scam. Do not dissolve properly and remain on clothes
