From a professional multi dry cleaning business owner:

1. Fold sweaters on hangers to prevent bacon neck and prevent you from pulling hanger out from neck (I know you do this.)

2. use soft edge hangers for t shirts. (Come on guys, we’re not 15 anymore. Get wood hangers).

3. Don’t use fabric softener (use white vinegar with soap, then at rinse use baking soda to remove vinegar smell)

4. Fold pants on hangers too to prevent double fold lines.

5. USE A SMALL AMOUNT OF SOAP. it’s concentrated and we can smell your tide from a mile away and don’t use oxy clean on darks.!. (it’ll fade your clothes quicker and you will use more, costing you more). And use cold water. With whites only use hot water.

t-shirts can still easily stretch out, best to fold them, yeah there's a chance it will wrinkle but if you have the time you can just steam it out real quick

Best tip is the steamer tip! We have a fam friend that is a designer and she advises using a steamer! I can say a steamer instantly makes you look more expensive in anything you are rocking!

Don't invest in a steamer, most irons come with a steamer if you aren't confident you can use it well with an old shirt. Also, invest in hangers for your ties and pants and maybe a Dry-cleaning bag (good places will do button repairs and patches on suits, shirts etc..) Oh and polish any leather item it makes the leather hold up for longer and look nice and new.

tbh as long as you read the labels its fine to mix colors. if its a piece that obviously wont do well mixed with other colors or the tag says not to do it, dont. i, surprisingly, dont own anything that i can think of that would need to be seperated.

So how do we dry shirts to prevent shrinking? Air dry makes them uncomfortable crispy to wear

I disagree with mixing colors. After 2 initial washes there should be no more color bleeding

Bro when you say we should hang our t-shirts differently you're essentially folding it and putting it on a hanger how is that different from just folding it and leaving it and the drawer? Won't you still get creases if you hang it like that

But isn’t fine to mix them I mean I could be wrong but if you have it set to cold like usual it doesn’t bleed

Um cold water works best cuz it makes your clothes last longer with the cheep fabric in today clothing you use warm water cuz over time u will get holes in your clothes and hot will definitely goin to shrink and put holes in your clothing and also u can mix and match colors but separate the whites 😂 and another tip wrinkles dont trap oder u can hang or fold whatever u like it dont matter
