Did you have to attach strips to the sides of the tabletop? I understand that they are veneered particle board, and they told me I would have to attach the strips to the sides, and trim it. I have no idea how and no one that has posted a video shows or says anything about having to do it. I’m confused. I love your set up, I don’t have 90+ inches but an looking at the 74” tops. You really do need to support the wood top with the drawers or attach a support leg in between as these will eventually bow from the weight. Thanks for sharing your space!

Are the drawers in the middle necessary to fold the butcher block, or only two drawers on the sides are enough?
