My clean and minimal DIY Desk Setup tour. Working from home means I need a productive workspace, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. This is my ultimate Instagram / work from home setup, with a full walk-through of my desk including Ikea Alex drawers, oak worktop, Autonomous chair and more.

34 inch ultra wide from LG. You won’t need a dongle and it will charge your MacBook. MX Keys and MX Master 3 for keyboard and mouse and For speakers anything with a small footprint like Bose companion, Audioengine or Kanto.

This is what you call a desk setup. Affordable and best. Not like the other ones that cost more than 5000 dollars or something. Your setup is clean and best for everyday I love it.

Good stuff here! I really appreciate the playstation touches. I watch a LOT of desk setup videos, and honestly, something I've noticed is that a lot of people who like to do clean and minimal setups omit ANY of their own personalities into their setup, resulting in a setup that looks nice but says NOTHING about them, other than they watch desk setup youtube videos. To me, the nice things about good setups and interior design in general, isn't just seeing how nice a living space looks, but can also tell me something about the person living in it. So even if they're small touches, I think they're really nice!

For your monitor, I honestly suggest Sceptres 30” Ultrawide Curved Gaming monitor. It’s under $300 and it’s actually a really nice monitor too. I recently got one and I love it.

For speakers - Presonus Eris E3.5 Bluetooth version. If you would get a bigger monitor, choose a support arm instead of the mount that comes with the monitor. With it the desk is way cleaner.

For the monitor you might want to take a look at Dell U2720Q. It's 27 inch, 4k, USB C and covers the DCI P3 color space so it should match your MacBook quite nicely.

Great set up, I’ve been planning some of the same things you have with furniture, colours etc so it’s good to see it all together in someone else’s office and you have given me a couple of new ideas!

In our current house I was going for a white and black theme but we are talking about moving and I had been thinking about light grey walls, the colour of yours looks perfect!

For the monitor, I did a lot of research the last days by myself. Maybe this can help you. I was looking for a monitor, that is
- energy efficient
- good size (high resolution)
- good for the eyes (filtering blue light)

I choose the Dell P2720DC. This has 27'', 2560x1440, needs only 24.5 Watt and has ComfortView, that reduces up to 60% of blue light emission. Additionally a USB-C, which will hopefully reduce my cables to my MacBook to only one cable. I like the design and the thin frame. Additionally, there are many ports (4x USB 2.0, 1x USB-C, HDMI, Display Port (in) and Display Port (out)).
