It’ll actually downshift for you automatically when you stop(to 1st gear), if you’re not sure how to downshift.

I know it common sense to break when slowing down or coming to a stop, but in these videos nobody ever say if you can down shift while pressing the breaks or not just for clarification.

It will downshift from any gear all the way to 1st. Used manual mode a lot for the winter and I do have a rt challenger so I can confirm it does downshift automatically if you don’t yourself

My rt in auto sounds like it struggles holding onto the gears too long. And also has a hellcat like whine when shifting. Also its most noticeable when i go into 4 cylinder mode. Thinking its the MDS solenoids, or just upgrade fuel injection. But am going to do trans filter and fluid change tonight, after watching this video.
