no! cut the chips, soak in water 30-60 min, boil in salted water wirh a bit of vinegar for 5 min or until softer, deep-fry until no colour just white but the ourside is ‘set’. now u can freeze these and fry when u want or when those are cool, fry at high temp til golden + toss witn salt, etc. enjoy.
