Fix Screen size macOS Sierra and High Sierra on VMWare 14, because VMWare tool V14 is not capable with macOS Sierra and High Sierra.
-just downgrade to use VMWare tool V12 (macOS VMWare unlocker208).

Just go to VMWare Menu > Settings > Display and uncheck anything related to retina scale or auto scale. it will fix the problem.

i did exactly the same as in video but after restart i still have only 1024x768 in scaler resolutions. any hint how to fix that ?

It didn't work for me, when I try to uninstall the VMware tools the program crashes.

Just curious, how can you get your VM box to run so fast? Mine is kinda lagging and bit of stutrering. My VM run in a laptop with win10, I5 7200U and 8GB ram. Can you pls share your tip and settings? Thks

So I have the same problem as others. After following every step, I still see 1024x768 in scaler resolution.
Currently, I am using Vmware 15 workstation. and for unlocker: VMware unlocker 3.0.2
I believe I am using the latest version but same results. Please help. Thank you.
