MacOS sierra startup resolution glitch

preview_player
Показать описание
the resolution at startup is different from the one i've set and you can see the glitch when there's the transition from the  loading screen and the desktop

note: i've already performed PRAM resets multiple times and rebooting with different resolutions does not help

specs: Macbook pro retina 13" late 2013

Exact same issue here - except mine happens halfway through the Apple loading screen. Happened after the most recent Sierra update (10.12.1). Have my resolution scaled out to fit more on my screen, going to try and change that to default and see if it fixes it. Glad I'm not the only one - thought my video card was failing.

switching back to default resolution solved this issue for me. Found the suggestion to do so after returning one and getting another only to find the same issue :')

same problem, if you want to solution for this problem(work around solution ), change the display resolution of the computer as default. or clean OS installation

I also had an issue on the boot screen (white rectangles appearing for a second or so). Track pad didn't work either. Now back on El Capitan until a new version of macOS is out.

I have the exact same issue. Hopefully this problem will be dealt with in the next update...

Have the same issue! Contacted Apple support. They know about this issue but they don't have a solution right now. I checked the latest beta but still remains.. but how can I get El Capitan on my Mac again? Even it is annoying, I'm glad that I'm not the only one..

Hi, I am using Sierra 10.12.3 and same thing started happening to me in the half way of loading screen. After loading is complete, everything is fine. However, this problem started to happen just after I downloaded an app, which can really be trusted, for having online dual monitor. I deleted the app after I encountered the problem; however, the problem still occurs despite all my efforts. I reinstalled the OSX and I did rmc reset. Nothing fixed the problem. Is there anyone who can help?
