YOU SO MUCH, I was going insane, yesterday i Upgraded my 2015 iMac to a 2019 iMac, I've always used a secondary display but with my new iMac the resolution was not correct, thanks to your video I know have my secondary display properly setup.

Thanks dude, you took a long time to get to the point but saved me hours spent figuring this out. From a Linux user: and they tell me "Mac is so easy to use and intuitive".

Great video, short and concise. Exactly what I was looking for. I wish I knew what you were eating before this video though. All that mouth swishing and ASMR sounding stuff was wild haha

I didn’t have gather windows at the bottom of my screen so it only shows me a question mark for the button so I can only see the text size scale. How can I fix this so I can go to the resolution scale?

THANKS! Just got a new mac mini M1 and 1280x800 was the highest resolution for my 30" monitor. 2560x1600 now after this video :)

I wanted to make the resolution on my macbook higher as a way to shrink the desktop icons and apps so that I can see more within the window. However my max available is 1280 x 800 running high sierra non retina. Is there a way to increase this? Or to shink/scale down the whole desktop so I can have a larger working/viewing area? Suposidly my mid2012 mbp should be able to support 2560x1080 but that choice does not show up on the scale options when hold down the options key like you show. Is there a terminal setting command to show this? Thanks.

hello sir, by lowering down the resolution of the "secondary display" (not mirror) will my macbook pro early 2015 model perform better?
