Recently, I was sitting on my front porch, my favorite place on earth, and began a prayer of thanks to the Lord. I said, "Thank-you, Lord, for that hummingbird", among other things. A few minutes later, the hummingbird hovered right in front of my face, so close I could feel the wind created by the flapping of his wings!! What a beautiful verification that the Lord was hearing my prayers!!
