I want to see more of Nyx. I like her because even if ancient Greeks had mostly male dominant societies Nyx in mythology was even feared by Zeus.

When I heard that nyx was feared by Zeus I had to make this my best goddess.

I can't help but feel like Hecate and Nyx have a lot in common...both are very mysterious and both are held in highest respect by Zeus...it raises a lot of questions in my mind...loved the video by the way!!!

Nyx is my favorite deity ever. One of the oldest and most powerfull beings in greek (and roman) mythology. Basically the mother of life as we know it. Both terrifying and beautiful. Bringer of horror, but also shelter and comfort.

Such a good combination of good and bad, but overall seems to be nice and caring, at least for her children.
I can't help but love her.

I'm so happy to see you did a video on Nyx. She isn't a goddess that everyone knows as well as Zeus and his siblings. One of my favorite fictional depictions of Nyx is in the House of Night book series. It doesn't have that much to do with Greek mythology, but I really enjoy the way she is depicted and the series overall is very good for people who like to read about vampires and magic.

Sounds like her youngest children, the Mirai, are very similar to the Norms in Norse mythology. Yet Nyx is a very intriguing figure in Greek mythology. Even Zeus fears her, and that's a strong game changer.

I love hearing about Nyx, to see how the ancient Greeks perceived her through mythology. She has been a key figure who has helped me deal with my dad's passing, encouraging me to embrace the dark parts in myself completely without fear, and through that, embrace the whole of who I fully am. Then, the healing can begin, as fear of emotions only hightens the pain of feeling them.

I like how Night and Darkness are the parents of Sleep and Death in Greek mythology. Great video as always; hope you feel better soon! :)

1:11 What's most intresting (well one of the most..) thing about greek myth is how that the first deities which were *embodiments of primeval darkness would be the ones to give birth to the first lights of the cosmos, * something that many worldbuilders don't seem to utilize very often. That thing being *"light from the darkness"* kinda theme.

Nyx happens to be on of my favorite Greek Goddess. I love the mystery she brings.
