Surprisingly, Nyx is not an evil goddess, as many people claim. She is simply primordial, and in some versions of Greek myths, she and Erebus came into existence even before Chaos itself. No one truly knows her real intentions, only that she is primordial and the most powerful goddess ever

She is truly divine, she is the second most beautiful goddess after the goddess Aphrodite ofcourse.But Nyx is almost never involving herself in myths, she don't need to, after all her daughter Eris is doing a lot of work.

I adore that Zeus is not an absolute powerhouse in the face of ultimate great powers in the universe going head to head(I mean look at what happened with typhon) (and not use tricks and such to win).

But that’s just my opinion.

Nyx is always an intriguing and mesmerizing goddess. I still also find it interesting that the beautiful Helen of Troy is possibly one of her granddaughters!

My most favorite of the Gods and most worthy of respect. The thought of a goddess painting the world dark to allow us to take refuge for sleep is one of the ideas that actually helps me sleep at night.

Nyx is so powerful that even the mighty Zeus is afraid of her and she could easily beat him in a fight

To my knowledge, The Trojan War was actually the second time Hypnos was convinced by Hera to put Zeus into an enchanted sleep. The first time was at some point during the 12 labors of Hercules. Zeus had promised him clear skies while sailing, but Hera wanted to sabotage Herc with a storm, so she tricked Hypnos into putting Zeus to sleep, saying that he was having trouble resting and needed help. Hercules' desperate prayers during the storm she summoned woke Zeus, and the furious King of Olympus chased Hypnos down until he hid under Nyx's cloak. The second time in the Trojan War, Hera actually had to bribe Hypnos by promising him the hand of Pasathea, the Grace (minor Goddess) of relaxation and meditation, who he fancied to secure his aid, and stayed by Zeus' side as he slept to ensure he wouldn't be disturbed. Hypnos got off scot-free that time and Hera kept her end of the deal.
