This video is all about how to install and configure the VMware vCenter Server Appliance 7 (AKA: VCSA 7).
In the video, first we'll install the VCSA 7, going through Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the installer process.
Then we'll connect to the VAMI interface to manage the root password policy.
After that, we connect to the Virtual Appliance Management Interface (VAMI) on port 5480 to configure the root password policy for the appliance itself.
Then We are going to connect to the HTML 5 /ui client and configure the VMware SSO password policy, and then import the ESXi 7 Host on which we built the appliance.
As we import the ESXi Host, we'll also discuss the VMware Certificate Authority (VMCA) and how it automatically replaces "self-signed" certificates in your VMware vSphere environment.

"We install to vCenter appliance...", eh, what? Which host are you mentioning and what is installed on it?

Where would you install this? On its own server?

I setup a trial of vmware esxi, what do I do with vCenter Server? do I need it?
