I was a 0 in VMware vSphere installation & configuration before I watched this video, and now thanks to you, I know at least something about the app without ever having worked on it even once. Thanks

Awesome video! You guys do an excellent job explaining and providing a step by step detailed explanation on setting up ESXi. I enjoy your videos detailing the behind the scenes videos and tutorials. If you guys can make a future video about the vms on your new server, like you did with you older server, that would be awesome! Keep up the great work and I look forward to your future videos! Wanted to ask, any recommendations on a good and compact case for a future NAS build?

Bro I had zero idea on installing a hypervisor even after I had taken a pretty intense course on virtualization. Thanks a lot for this, I can feel the Hypervisor on bare-metal!

Thanks, am looking to the knowledge as I have completed VMware course months back so just a good refresh, and further more there I have interview as a cloud engineer, tomorrow exactly, so just in time to renew, refresh and reknow my understandings on VMware especially on esxi host.

Nice. This is just like Proxmox, same concepts. Good video and humorous, too. :)

If your server supports it, you can boot the hypervisor from an SD card or an internal USB drive, saving a hard disk to be used as a datastore. ESXi needs at least 1 GB, so a 8 GB USB or SD card is more than enough.

That's a great video, very detailed and well edited.
I was wondering could you show how to install a Vsphere client on the Esxi
And supposed I have a Vms on an external hard disk that I want to connect to the Esxi machine,
How do I do that?

ESXi is the hypervisor, vSphere is the central orchestration software. Came here for the vSphere returned empty handed.
