For sponsorships, I´ve been in both sides of the spectrum (as an influencer and as an sponsor), I believe the really important figure is community engagement. If I see lots of comments, certain likes/views ratios..., I can understand if that specific content creator is a real influencer and whether his/her community is going to trust his recommendations or support a brand association. That actual influence is the holy grial because you can get much more value for your buck as an sponsor than just measuring reach.

I’ve heard wide speculation that YouTube is making algorithmic changes. What I mean is that I know a group of creators all are different niches and we are all relatively small and our recommendation for the channel have all dropped more than 50%. I only have a .09% recommendation on my channel for example. And I was at 70% roughly. Was just wondering if you’ve heard anything. Thank you for the great information you give us! I'm still really just getting started, and almost all of this is so far over my head that low flying aircraft are in danger of getting hit before I grasp it. While I know that it's a false impression, but as a tech guy, I feel like I should be understanding this more intuitively, but so far it just seems like I'm flailing at random.

Ultimately, that's okay. My channel is pretty niche, and it's shared with a pretty small community, for which it's geared. Maybe, some day, I'll really start looking at growing outside of where I am now, but I'm clearly not ready for that... yet.
