The thumbnail is really crucial. I just agree about the length. The longer... means also more recommended, if well edited sure. Got my like. This is a great video.

Thanks for the video. It feels like such a crapshoot with the algorithm, sometimes. I wonder if anyone really knows what is going on, though. My intuition is that the algorithm is constantly readjusting every second to trends and huge amounts of data it gets every moment, thus it's very hard to predict with certainty what will fly and what will crash. It's like fishing in a stormy sea. You can catch something but it's not easy.

I think this is part of why one video can do really well but others tank.

I believe the solution would be to experiment, soldier on, and recognize that the almighty algortithm can be like a careless or uncaring god sometimes. Hard not to take it personally when you put so much effort into videos and only get 3 views on them. 😔

But I think hard work and patience will work out in the end.

Finally, after hours and hours searching for the reason why all the videos on my channel just stopped getting recommended all of a sudden, when my channel was finally taking off... it's probably because I transitioned from 10 minute videos to 5 minute ones...

My main is gaming and specially GTA v but i want to upload fortnite and fc games but after some shorts with football propably i killed my channel because my youtube algorithm comfused as you said. How can i fix this now? Should i keep upload niche to niche (only one game) or i have to create new channel and start from the begin?
