Love the execution of build as always. Guessing you weighed the probability of needing your spare and figured it was ok to have underneath. A choice I wouldn't personally make.

👍Great build!

That would've taken some figuring to set up. Nice. All the best for the new year.

I really hate carrying a spare like that partly because of the difficulties in keeping clean when accessing it but because they sometimes work loose over time. I discovered the spare on my S10 hanging low and when I tighten it the cable broke.

My pathfinder has that from factory, and every Navara, Hilux do I need to go on, its a trip to a scrap yard and a few hours work

What do you do for a living to have the time and money to build this?

Is that a torque wrench? Also I absolutely love that box, I've been wanting to do the same with my jeep

Nice setup, do you have a link on how to build this setup?

Epic. Hey what latches did you use to lock your pelican cases into those cool swing out shelves

A socket adapter & drill come to mind... 🤦‍♂️

That’s pretty neat… but why not make it play music also??!!??? Ah you see!

Imagine building a clunky frame with springs and hinges that folds out, which is hanging off the back of your rig just waiting to get smashed-- just to mount a plastic box onto it, which is only big enough to hold a drill, ratchet and some string. lol.. What is the point in all this "utility theater? I don't understand the appeal in pointless functionality.

Not hidden at all. Most vehicles have this from the factory. You're not special.
