Caught the high speed train from Guangzhou to Guilin. It is unbelievable. Guangzhou South train station is amazing also.

I did HSR from Xian to Beijing, train was silently fast and comfortable.

I recalled riding a std train ~2009 from Xian to Shanghai during February.

Omg, i was cold in the non sleeping area with no heat. I honestly thought let me die... another 6 hours to go.

Always an experience in China! Love it!

Cant believe you havent done any high speed trains in china before.
My wife and I have probably over 50 high speed train trips under our belts.
All of them awesome.
Get yourself down to Shanghai, ride the maglev, and amaze at Shanghai station.

Have tried the Chinese trains once, Shenzhen-Guangzhou, they are really comfortable. And very punctual. Which cities did you travel between?
