Finally I feel this is me. Thank you! I never heard of a combination of autumn and winter. These colors were always comfortable on me.

I have exactly same eye pattern as Monika in this video. Been struggling to decide whether I'm deep autumn or deep winter but I knew browns look really good on me, but so does my current vilet red hair colour that's supposed to be a deep winter colour.

Hi Carol! I came over because one of my subscribers mentioned you in a comment on my latest video. She thinks I am a deep autumn. As a graphic designer, I love color, so just subscribed! I hope you have a great weekend!

My eyes are similar to hers in the tone but my eyes are reddish brown not yellowish... I also have similar pattern. I have dark brown/black hair. My skin I would say is similar to hers maybe slight lighter.

@Carol Brailey I really love how you do color theory explanation and it's quite different than other methods I've come across - your method seems to have the most solid logic - do you have a book you can reference for your method? I'd love to check it out in the library. In your experience do a lot of olives fall under the Deep category? It sounds like Deep can be Autumn or Winter? I myself am a true cold olive (I'm literally green in winter) and discovered this in 4th grade when I wore an olive green shirt to school and a girl in the class looked at me puzzled and said "That shirt makes you look sick." I came home and told my parents and they actually agreed lol. I've avoided it ever since! Burgundy and eggplants - that's when I get complimented the most. On the flipside, with some of the icy pastel colors in the winter palette I seem to get washed out, but they're not as bad as the olive green and mustards lol. But the Deep swatch palette - I shine in every one of those colors. So I guess my confusion is: Is Deep its own category? Or are Deep Autumn or Deep Winter their own categories (and they just happen to share the same color palette per your swatch in this video)?

yes. This vid is confusing to me as well . I watched the eye pattern video and I never heard any reference to seasons, just cool and warm. I’ve been watching multiple videos to try to get my collar pallet and just when I thought I was a neutral warm (Deep Autumn) this vid threw me off. Maybe I’m not? I noted you saying in another video Carol that deep winter = neutral cool, and deep autumn = natural warm, yet in this video at 2:27 you show a deep autumn/winter pallet best suited for this gal. So her best colours are neutral yet deep as opposed to neutral muted? Or are there 2 more categories to add to deep/muted? It seems most categories have 4 subjects. I suppose I need to find an eye patter video that speaks to seasons, (can you point me to yours) and a collar pallet vid that talks to deep/muted? Which video should I watch to learn about deep and muted and what I need to consider to know what I am? Just when I thought I got there!
