Shackleton's lost ship Endurance found off Antarctica

The wreck of Sir Ernest Shackleton's ship Endurance, which was trapped in sea ice before sinking in 1915, has been found off the coast of Antarctica in what has been called a "milestone of polar history".

The ship is remarkably preserved, what a beautiful wreck

1:35 16 days on that little boat with freezing water pouring in and giant swells around the 4-man crew. Insane.

This is more impressive than finding Titantic. 10, 000 feet deep in the South Pole. Mind-boggling.

The Shackleton expedition saga is amazing. Finding his ship is incredible. I strongly recommend that anyone who isn't familiar with this story read a book on it or at least see the movie. The word hero today is thrown about like confetti to the point of meaninglessness. Shakelton himself was a real hero.

Shackleton didn't listen to the warning about how bad the ice was, if it wasn't for his captain frank worsley none of them would of got home, shackleton wanted all the glory by making the crew sign over all the diaries, the real hero is frank worsley
