Now in my late seventies, I've been on the healing path as student and teacher since the 1980s. Tim Han nails it, and with a true enthusiasm that makes me smile. He is on fire! Victimhood progresses as a new-normal, but Tim nails the syndrome right in the bud. It's not that complicated. Yet effort is required, daily, minute-ly. I am studying to be a health and life coach and I have learned exactly what you stated. We need to think positively in order to get What we want. Instead of telling clients so tell me what’s wrong I say tell me what’s going well that helps to focus their energy on good things that they are doing toward a positive goal.

Yep. This is what I say all the time. I do my absolute best to not be a victim and complain. I slip up from time-to-time and hate the world but soaking in my sorrows and being a victim does NOTHING.

Matt 12:13 ... the more complaining I do the more I get to complain about ... the more thankful I am the more I get to be thankful for ... stop complaining be grateful ... stop justifying take responsibility ... stop blaming and take action toward your goals. No one else has to change in order for me to improve my life.

I was injured in a car accident 15 years ago that left me with severe pain and loss of career etc. I was stuck in chronic pain. But eventually I wanted my life back. Yes I’m still in pain but I’ve focused on the gratitude and the blessing of life. I’m back to work ( still not full time ) but supporting myself and own my own home.
*Stop complaining!
* live and speak as if you’re blessed
* forgive others and yourself
* make daily goals and do them
* don’t take failures and mistakes personally- we all have them.

* practice self love. You’re worth it !
