Can someone be prone to getting sepsis? I’ve had a liver transplant & must take anti rejection meds. I get UTI’s over & over & over again, however, I have none of the typical symptoms of a UTI…until I kind of blank out & someone notices. By the time I get to the hospital, I usually have a high temp, have no knowledge of what is happening to me & am unable to answer any questions from the medical staff. This terrifies me because I know people who have died from sepsis. I am 69 years old & live alone…what can I do??

Ok I have had a temp of 96, and I’ve been really sick lately and my temp is still 96, this is coming off of a 102 temp a couple days ago, I’ve heard 96 is really low and should be looked at if you are still sick because it could be hypothermia or sepsis is this true? Should I go get checked?

I would like to embed this video in a hospital nursing education module for sepsis. Do I need any special permissions to do that?
