Be aware of the Logitech G29 noise level - sometimes gears are producing clanking noise like it's a jackhammer (when I setup it to my desk - my neighbors downstairs got real mad, they thought I was doing apartment repairs in the middle of the night).

Great wheel otherwise for its money, served me well for more than 5 years and is still going.

I simply use a G25 given to me by a mate for free many many years ago, on my boyfriend’s desk! I’ve spent all my money on upgrading our gaming PC, a Quest2 VR headset, and DLC. See no need to upgrade my wheel until it breaks, I still get top 5 results in RF2 races with it! Even then I might get a second hand G29 or something 😂

I bought a broken G920 wheel for $75AUD about 4 month ago, then found some broken pedals that matched for $45AUD, fixed them both then swapped to larger 350mm Momo and they have been amazing. The lager wheel has made the most difference to my driving because I find the standard one to small. Great first setup.

I’ve started with a T150, after a couple of years I upgraded to a T300GT, which is an excellent option for me still today if you don’t want to go for a DD, now I have with my T300 an acelith MC mod rim, a Ferrari 599x rim, TH8A shifter and the T-LCM pedals with the loadcell .. will stay like that till thrusmaster makes an “affordable “ DD or will have to change to an other ecosystem in some years

Don't forget the CAMMUS C5, an excellent Direct Drive option at a very competitive price.
Especially if you have little space and don't have a cockpit, it can fit anywhere.

Price variance from region/country to country really plays a big role here. Where I am you cannot find a G29 lower than 330 euro. Whereas the T128 is at 180 to 200. Its the clear winner from the two wheels hands down for that price difference.

Logitech 923. True force and a good brake pedal is where a beginner gets hooked! Now I’m looking at direct drives… expensive hobby, but crazy fun.

I think that a good set of load cell pedals makes a much larger difference in feedback or consistency than the wheel you start out with.

I got 923 Logitech and I love it ! I don’t see the limitations of a gear driven wheel as a casual player of gt7

i see the lag on the monitor, what none of you do is measure lag, and measure force, there is a way to to measure force, it can be done, Arduino can be programed to move them, force meter, and measure the force . Its done all the time on motors . It takes a community that you have, some IT guys and there you go, you can get a lot of different parameters measured .

Just upgraded my old T150 to the T300RS with the Ferrari SF1000 wheel and im loving it so far!
I will Definitely upgrade the base to the T818 if i ever have the money though!

Still running a t300Gt several years later. The wheelbase and wheel itsefl are simply good enough. I don't feel they're holding me back at all. The pedals however are fairly weak. The T3pa brake pedal leaves a lot to be desired.

I think the T300 pairs very well with the SHH Newt shifter.

Bought a Thrustmaster TMX (T150) in a discount for about 100€. Good for getting into racing games, however I soon realized that the wheel was very limiting. Also the feel of gears was unpleasant. Currently looking forward to getting CSL DD R2R bundle in near future.

Just snatched a thrustmaster t500rs set in mint condition only for 200 euro. Used market is less trustable but the best money to performance ratio.
