This actually helped me feel so much better bro. Every once in a while, I’ll have a few nights where I can’t sleep or stop crying. I’m scared of eternity. It’s truthfully so hard to grasp the concept of forever, but you’ve really helped me hammer in the fact that I will be spending my forever infinitely happy. Thanks man, I don’t have to cry myself to sleep anymore. You really deserve more attention.

I have the same fear, every night. I always had the idea about "What happens if you've done everything in heaven yet have to stay here forever", but I know it's nothing like that in heaven. My grandma would always talk me out of my fears and I would feel much better.

I suffer from this. But my fear goes both ways. Drive myself crazy thinking about it.

Eternity just scares me. I'm not afraid of running out of things to do im just afraid, because there is no end. I used to be scared of death but now im afraid of life??? Every time i think about it i almost get a panic attack, the only thing that stops me from having one is the fact that THAT'S a vulnerable moment in which the enemy can attack me. Normally I'll just remind myself that death isn't a choice, it's heaven or hell, love or hate, Jesus or pain for all eternity. That puts things into perspective :)

Im just so scared of forever. It's like just once we are gone that's it. And then we float for ever and infinity and never able to come back.

I hope God has prepared some sort of really cool thing where we can do video games but in real life. Like, we go on adventures or something. I know that sounds weird, but I feel like it would be so much fun for a short period of time.

We are surrounded by decay, aging, rot and death; our perception of eternity is likely viewed through that lens. Once we get there I don’t think we’ll feel the same at all, it’s possible everything will seem eternally new to us.

The reason people think like that, is because they don’t understand the laws of heaven. Not everything can be done in heaven. For example you can’t leave heaven, you can do bad. The reason we commit crime, do the things we do. Is because of the few seconds of enjoyment we get from it, we long for it, we strive so hard, work countless years just for it to end up in few seconds of enjoyment. What people don’t understand is that, those few seconds of enjoyment, is an eternal feeling in heaven. All those things we do to achieve that few seconds of enjoyment, it will last forever in paradise. That’s how I got over this “living for an eternity forever” idea in 2 weeks.

You know what got me scared? Not being able to play Fallout 4 there. Not having Silky saw while camping. But also what made me feeling good about it is that this universe will else and will be there to see birth of another one. Also eternity is the only way to support reality, our time/space, or any other. As something less then infinite would need to be attached to something. Like we are on Earth. Which is in universe. And universe has to be to something. So I see it as natural solution. Also you said about learning in eternity.. that is cool. All given God will be like it is. Me not being forced to stare at Him all the time. That would mean we are just programed. I mean my dog looks at me like I am something special while we landed on a moon. Dog doesn't know nothing except food, pets, walk. That would be sad to be that stupid. But hey - that would work, not understanding more. God wouldn't have anyone confronting him. If so He would just send them also to hell. All of those used to scare me 😂😂😂 but most of all - not having Fallou 4 up there. Stuff I used to like here.

But I lile that you said that we are seeing erernity as a last stop, but surely it isn't.

Pray for Fallout 4 on Heavens, tnx 😂😂😂

im a bit late to the party but here it goes...I have a good answer to this... If you suffer from trying to imagine what forever is, here's good answer for you. You have an eternity to worry about eternity. So why worry now, panic in a million years, lol

I see you haven't experienced suffering yet.

(1) "God has it covered." God doesn't have a great track record in that department when you look at all the people left living tortured lives here on earth. Sure he cries with them/for them, etc., but he's not lifting a finger to help them. (2) "What's good here is still good in heaven." Most of what's good here isn't even permitted in heaven. In a place where pain, suffering, loss, betrayal, etc. aren't even possible, that means that all art is limited to paintings of Jesus and more terrible Christian music. No Shakespeare, no Van Halen, no Avengers, no Bugs Bunny even. (3) "God is infinitely creative." Simply existing forever will get old and boring no matter what entertainment is put forth. Nope, still terrified of heaven and still wondering why more people aren't.
