Starfield Beginners Guide To Different Guns, Weapons & Ammo, Ballistic (Bullets) & Energy (Lasers)

In this introductory beginners guide to the guns and weapons in Starfield, I explain what this difference is between the different types of guns, and how Energy Weapons or Lasers are better against Shields, and then Ballistic Weapons that fire bullets are then better against an unshielded enemy.
I show you how to organize your guns by ammo type, so that you can compare similar models, and how to decipher the different damage values to decode how actually good and effective a weapon might be.

I'm just starting Starfield on PC gamepass and am currently LVL 5, in neon.

Still not sure how to actually equip ammo.

I just bought the boom boom shotgun, ammo, highlight the ammo and it says something in the top right corner, not sure what.

Why dosent the ammo automatically go in the guns magazine?

Dude I love how the game provides you with no ammo and fails to simplify ammo for your weapons. Oh idk like the most important part of the game man this game sucks ass!
