Also try each rendering option. DirectX started having massive frame drops for me this league but changing to Vulkan has been smooth.

i just play in 800x600. all the gui is in full hd but the game itself is in 800x600, feels good overall.

I was going down to 1 fps when popping legions, Ebony mtx after 5 maps FPS in hideout is almost halved. I switched from Ebony to Mercurial and there seem to be little to non fps loss.
Sound effects i've disabled years ago, i miss the sounds but it is what it is. The biggest culprit was changing from Lockstep to Predictive hooly shit! Went from 1fps/freeze to doing boxes and legion at the same time. I've never thought it would make such an impact for my setup at least, if someone else is struggling don't neglect this option like I did for 3 weeks. Thank you.

This game used to run fine. Idk what happened. This is the only game I can’t play smoothly I have a great rig

Disabling sounds works because, every mob generates sounds that need to be processed, so if you are having hundreds of mobs on the screen it gets CPU intensive. By disabling sound, you relieve your CPU a bunch. But I would leave dialogue, filter, and ofc master sounds on since it's great to hear boss vocal queues and other related things in the map, like betrayal spawning.

Went from 7 to 25 fps in headhunter deli legions by taking off my mtx and disabling sound effects, thanks dood

for me it was ebony tornado shot skin. Well I was wondering why I need to restart my client every 2 map. Thank you man. This saved my league experience.

For me it was sound effects last league. You can keep voices, music and loot filter sound, but some of the sound effects just melt the games audio engine and your CPU. Every time I ran into king harbys their ball lightning spam would fry my game to single digit fps from 90+. Disabling effects kept it 80+ in full deli madness.

It's ridiculous how sound options affect your FPS in this game. Also my game keeps crashing my driver and had to do a hard reset everytime it does. Switched to vulkan and it fixed it but sometimes it just lags for a good 20 seconds every few minutes.
