For me personally, I haven’t had any bad experiences using it, but after doing a bit of research online, there are some privacy concerns that people have with it. TL;DR: Quality Settings -> Anisotropic Filtering -> OFF / Keep everything else instead / Free FPS!
Long version:
I found out, that the main cuprit in decreasing the FPS is the Anisotropic Filtering (Options -> Video Settings -> Quality), it is already stated in its description, and yes they mean it. The Anisotropic Filtering effect is very good visible while walking on rails. There is not a sharp edge to them anymore, it is much smoother. But the IMMENSE FPS loss isn't worth that. So just keep your other fancy settings and start with switching off the Anisotropic Filtering. Enjoy your FPS :)

Intel, ur probably not gonna read this, but this vid helped me out so much. It increased my regular fps by abt 40 fps, and when i record with obs, I now get abt 60. Before, i would usually get like 60-65 fps, and 30-35 when i record, and now i get like 100 and 60 recording. tysm, ur vid rly helped me out!

One addition to the restore points: You need to enable the drive protection by selecting your windows drive, clicking configure and enabling protection. Otherwise, you can't make a restore point.
