Jaguar was one of the first luxury carmakers to get into the all-electric space with the launch of the Jaguar I-Pace in the global market in 2018; however, the jaguar I-Pace electric has only been introduced in India earlier this year in March. And the timing couldn’t have been better, as Mercedes-Benz already has the EQC on sale in India, and Audi will soon introduce the e-tron. But with the aim to become an all-electric brand by 2025, Jaguar’s plans are rather ambitious. It’s a good thing, then, that the Jaguar’s first EV to be launched in India – the Jaguar I-Pace 2021 – is fashionably late, persuasively practical, and predictably engaging.
