"Aw, look at that nice wee dog"
"Watch that fuckin' dug"

The difference between a dog and a dug perfectly summed up

When I hear him doing the bit about all the (catholic) kids and 30 year old grandmas it reminds me of the scene in the film Gregory's Girl where Gregory goes out of the front door and is stepping over hundreds of young kids bawling their eyes out as he walks down the garden path :-)

The best thing about watching Kevin Bridges on Youtube is:
You can watch it a second time with the auto generated captions turned on and see what gibberish it comes up with.

When we moved onto a council estate, we told our kids their names were too posh and we'd have to change them to Destiny, Gage and Mariah. This reminded of that convo🤓🤓🤓

These folk you always hear whistling at comedy shows amuse me.
I always imagine being in the pub with a few mates, you crack a wee joke, 5 of them laugh, but that one mate responds by jamming a couple of fingers in his mouth and whistling while slapping his thigh with his other hand... Or him watching a comedy film with the family of an evening, the family all laughing and he's sat there whistling his approval.

This is so brilliant because it reminds me of growing up in Rotterdam in the 80's. I have told that to quite a few of my English, Scottish and Irish friends here in Switzerland (been living there since 30 years), and most of them do not believe me. But I swear, it was exactly the same where I grew up in Rotterdam in the 80's 😅 But obviously, none of my friends in Switzerland believe my similar stories, because all of them grew up 'protected' in a happy family and almost without any violence or aggression. Which is how is should be obviously.
