A heated debate broke out on a UK TV show over Kohinoor diamond and its history. This as Buckingham palace confirmed that Queen Consort Camilla won't be wearing the crown studded with the Kohinoor at the coronation ceremony of Britain's King Charles in May. Indian-origin journalist Narinder Kaur fact-checked broadcaster Emma as she pointed out the disputed history of the diamond. Narinder Kaur shouted that Kohinoor is from India and that it should be given back to India. Watch the viral video here.

Here in the Netherlands, we gave, last year, a lot of historical artifacts back to Indonesia because it's not ours...

Frankly most Indians don’t see Kohinoor as a diamond. It’s a symbol that the British so arrogantly wears on its head and then asks us forget the past without asking for forgiveness. Indians have adopted the policy of forgive but not forget. But the British govt never apologised or even expressed remorse over its exploits in india. That’s what irritates Indians the most.

It is said that if you ever lost a valuable thing, search it in the British Museum and you are sure to find it! 😂

Happy to give everything back, including the people who have immigrated to the UK. Would be a win-win!

Best part of this debate was the spontaneous reaction of Emma saying it equally belongs to Pakistan as well .Emma, it makes us wonder if Brits are still not able to come out of " divide and rule" policy which is now " divide, make them fight and let them destroy each other and we supply arms to them " policy . Knowing very well, what is going on between India and Pakistan, such comments are questionable . At least it is now accepted it doesn't belong to Britain .

As an African, I couldn't be more supportive of this lady. Make amends, just give the diamond back and take accountability for your dark history... honestly these people are professionals in shamelesses

She just shouts over the other person. She always does it. She is scared of being proved wrong.

I don’t care if she’s right. She needs to learn how to be an adult and let the other person speak without interrupting.

If England will return everything it has taken from India, 70% if it's museums, treasury and 450% out of 100% economy will be gone.
