In this video I'm in Guadalajara, in the State of Jalisco, Mexico. I explore the historic centre of Guadalajara, and take a trip to the nearby Tequila region where I visit a tequila distillery and learn about how its made. I also try the classic dishes of Jalisco, like the birria goat soup, barbacoa tacos and carnitas tacos! This region of Mexico is also where mariachi music is from so I listen to mariachis sing live in the plaza. It's the cultural heart of Mexico and I'm so glad I visited!

I love my city and I miss it so much. I was born there 46 yrs ago but my parents brought me to the United States when I was only 8 yrs old. I lived in Guadalajara for a very short time but I feel proud of my heritage so I always say I am Tapatia 🇲🇽🥰🥹 I go often to visit my family and one day I hope to be back and never leave, I love it 🥰
